Der Dalai Lama - ein Heiliger?
Der Dalai Lama wird in den "Qualitätsmedien" gewöhnlich als "Seine Heiligkeit" bezeichnet, Hollywoodstars wie Richard Gere u. die Gutmenschen hierzulande liegen ihm zu Füßen. Obwohl wir uns davor hüten sollten, andere Religionen pauschal zu verteufeln, so muss man doch einige kritische Fragen an den Dalai Lama richten. Diese betreffen insbesondere das sogenannte Kalachakra-Tantra, zu dem der 14. Dalai Lama auch Einweihungen im Westen abgehalten hat. Im Kalachakra Tantra werden höhere tantrische Meditationspraktiken praktiziert, der Shambala-Mythos (ein myh. Königreich) ist darin enthalten. Der Text nennt als Gegner des Buddhismus ausdrücklich auch die Gründer der drei monotheistischen Weltreligionen (Judentum, Christentum, Islam): "Adam, Henoch, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, der im weißen Gewand [Mani], Mohammed und Mathani [der Mahdi]". Das Kalachakra-Tantra bezeichnet sie als "die Familie der dämonischen Schlangen". (Shri Kalachakra I. 154) Insbesondere gegen den Propheten Mohammed (saws) gibt es schlimme Ausfälle. Das Kalachakra Tantra ist auch alles andere als friedfertig - über viele Seiten werden Superwaffen u. die "grausame" buddhistische Kriegsführung geschildert. (Shri Kalachakra I. 163/165) Wissenswert ist auch, dass nur die niedrigen Einweihungsstufen des Kalachakra Tantra öffentlich sind. In den acht geheimen höchsten Einweihungen soll der Initiant in einen Zustand jenseits von gut und böse gelangen. Der Original-Text fordert deshalb z.B. dazu auf, zu lügen, zu stehlen, Alkohol zu trinken und sexuell mit Mädchen zu verkehren (was nach manchen Verteidigern dieser Praktiken "symbolisch" verstanden werden soll). In den höchsten Stufen kommen sexualmagische Praktiken zur Anwendung, die so widerwärtig sind, dass ich sie hier nicht näher beschreiben möchte. Es werden auch unreine Substanzen, wie verschiedene Exkremente, verspeist. Das alles ist längst bekannt, die Rituale des Kalachakra können nachgelesen werden, empfehlenswert sind dazu auch Colin Goldners und Victor und Victoria Trimondis Bücher über den Dalai Lama. An den Dalai Lama kann sehr wohl die Frage gestellt werden, wie es zu seiner Rolle als Friedensnobelpreisträger passt, dass in diesen Einweihungen von einer Feindschaft gegenüber den drei monotheist.
