Dieser bedürftige Bettler, der auf Teufel komm raus um jedes Kleingeld nassauert. Und ich stelle mir die Frage, was ihn dazu veranlasst, sein Anliegen an wildfremde Menschen zu richten. An Menschen, die es verabscheuen um etwas gebeten zu werden. Die Antwort auf diese Frage ist eindeutig. Der bettelnde Mann, wäre kein Bettler wenn er wohlhabend wäre. Er handelt aus seiner Not heraus. Diese Erkenntnis des Bettlers ist bitter, weshalb er auch verbittert bettelt und bittet. Doch meine persönliche Erkenntnis ist noch bitterer, als die des bettelnden. Ich erkenne mich in ihm wieder. Denn auch ich, bettel und bitte nur aus meiner eigenen Not heraus. Und zwar nicht zu den kalten, egozentrischen Menschen, sondern zu Jemandem, Der es liebt gebeten zu werden und Der es liebt zu geben. Ich sehe mich selbst in der Spiegelung der Fensterscheibe. Ich betrachte den wahrhaftig bedürftigen Bettler in der Bahn. "Und wenn Wir dem Menschen Gnade erweisen, dann kehrt er sich (von Uns) ab und geht seitwärts; doch wenn ihn ein Übel berührt, siehe, dann beginnt er, bittgebete in großzügiger Weise zu sprechen."
