ALLES NACH PLAN...?
-----> ABWARTEN UND TEE TRINKEN!

Selam aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Wir Europäer sind es gewohnt die Dinge JUST IN TIME zu regeln. Immer gebunden an Fristen, nie verspätet. Wir warten nicht gerne und haben die Dinge planbar und gerne schnell geregelt. Zumindest die Mehrheit von uns. Afrika hingegen ist nicht Europa.

Ich selbst bin jemand der die Werte von Zuverlässigkeit und Perfektion lebt und immer einen Blick auf die Uhr hat. Wenn Khalil sagt 10.00 Uhr ist Abfahrt, dann fährt das Auto in sha Allah auch um Punkt 10.0 Uhr ab.
Das können sicher auch ein paar Brüder bestätigen, die zur Fußball Fahrgemeinschaft um 10.02 Uhr zusehen mussten wir der Wagen vor ihrer Nase los gefahren ist und sie selbst zusehen mussten wie sie zum Fußball kommen. :) Aber wer diese Disziplin nicht hat und anderen beibringt, der wird nie verlässlich sein. Und gerade das Wort von unseren Muslimen sollte mehr denn je verlässlich sein.

Seit ich jedoch in Afrika bin, muss ich umdenken. Dies hat 2 Gründe:

1. DIE MENTALITÄT

In Afrika stresst sich keiner, was heute nicht erledigt wird, kann man auch irgendwann anders machen. Wenn etwas nicht hin haut, lacht man drüber und überhaupt am aller liebsten tut man hier gar nichts.

2. NICHT PLANBAR

Mehr aber noch ist die Tatsache, dass Afrika nicht planbar ist ein wesentlicher Faktor. So kann es passieren, dass du auf einmal nicht mehr weiter fahren kannst weil durch Regen die einzige Straße überschwemmt ist. Oder du willst in ein Gebiet wo es keine Straßen gibt und auf einmal haben sich dort überall Löcher und Krater gebildet so das man nicht weiter fahren kann. Ebenso kann es sein, das auf einmal der Wagen defekt ist (wie bei uns auf dem Bild unten). Dann stehst du irgendwo im Nirgendwo und musst gucken das du da weg kommst.

Es kann sein das Teile die wir zum Bauen brauchen Wochen unterwegs oder nicht lieferbar sind. Es wird vielleicht Baumaterial geklaut unterwegs. Das Wetter macht Bauarbeiten unmöglich. Fehler in der Planung oder in der Konstruktion. Dinge die man beim Bau nicht bedacht hat oder wo jemand falsch kalkuliert und berechnet hat. In Afrika gibt es so unglaublich viele Sachen die ein Projekt nicht planbar machen. Und die Afrikaner machen den Rest. Ist man beim Bau nicht anwesend, kann es durchaus passieren das die Arbeiter das Baumaterial unter sich aufteilen und beschließen frei zu machen.

So wie ich lernen musste mich auf Afrika einzustellen, so müsst auch Ihr all die Spender und Paten immer etwas Geduld haben. Alle möchten immer das ich konkrete Zeiträume festlege, aber das geht in Afrika nicht. Beispielsweise haben wir ein Projekt, dessen Ausführung 4 Wochen dauern sollte und nach 6 Monaten ist es noch nicht fertig. Da gab es eine Überschwemmung, es gab Probleme bei der Genehmigung. Module waren nicht lieferbar... Das nervt, ist aber leider nicht anders machbar. Alhamdulillah, das wir bisher fast alles nah Plan hin bekommen haben und selbst in Ausnahmesituationen stets eine Lösung finden konnten...

Was so viel bedeutet wie immer langsam...

Wenn dann mal doch etwas nicht läuft, suchst du dir einen Kaffee Verkäufer, trinkst erstmal einen Kaffee und wartest einfach ab...

Allahu Akbar! This evening a couple accepted Islam on Copa Cabana beach.

This evening me and Subboor decided to give out flyers on the beach front. The flyers were going out fast as the thousands of people after the football were walking up and down the beach. Magrib came in and i wanted to go back to the apartment to pray but Subboor wanted to stay and pray near the beach, so we decided to go into a slightly secluded spot away from the crowd near some trees and a street light, The moment i started to call the Adhan this couple approached us saying they received a flyer from us over an hour ago and was trying to find us, Subhanallah they were so interested in learning about Islam, they were very open and had both admitted not believing Jesus was apart of God or the son of God but a prophet sent by God. They were both raised as christian but were searching for the truth and both prayed and worshipped God alone. After about 30minutes they both decided they wanted to accept islam but was very concerned about how they would learn this religion as they was not aware of the small Muslim community in Rio. Subhanallah even before accepting Islam they was thinking of the process of change and study. We have kept in touch and will be introducing them to the local Muslim community inshallah :) Allahu Akbar reflecting on the whole incident, Copa Cabana Beach in Rio at the time of the world cup, its 1000s of litres of alcohol consumed, the amount of drugs, ziina, crime that happens in that square mile, easily one of the most jehil paces on earth at this time, Subhanallah amongst all this it was the Qadar of Allah that He decided to guide this couple to Islam.

Selamualeikum liebes DWR-Team,

ich bin eine konvertierte Schwester und wollte mich inshallah für unterstütztende Tätigkeiten zur Verfügung stellen. Ich wohne in Bonn und habe momentan genügend Zeit zur Verfügung, da ich vor kurzem Mutter geworden bin.
Gerne kann ich euch beim verpacken der Qurane, Flyer verteilen oder sonstiges helfen.

Ich möchte gerne mehr Hasanat verdienen und somit auch Allah für meinen tollen Sohn danken.

Inshallah werdet ihr euch bei mir melden!


P.S.: Auch hoffe ich, dass ich Schwestern kennenlerne von denen ich auch noch was lernen kann und die mir den Isam noch besser zeigen können...
