Dieser Monat Muharram gehört zu den heiligen Haram Monaten und es ist sehr empfehlenswert diese Zeit ausnutzen und gute Taten zu machen und sich von schlechten fern zu halten. Das beste Fasten nach Ramadan ist in diesem Monat so viel wie möglich zu fasten. Man sollte sich vor allem diese große Chance nicht entgehen lassen den 10 Tag von muharram zu fasten. Schaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-`Uthaymin, rahimahullah sagte: Als der Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) in Medina ankam, fand er vor, dass die Juden am 10. Tag von Muharram fasteten. Er sagte: „Ich habe mehr Anrecht darauf, Musa (Friede sei auf ihm) zu folgen als ihr." (Al-Bukhari, Buch: Das Fasten) In einem Hadith von Ibn Abbas, möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein, dessen Authenzität von Bukhari und Muslim bestätigt wurde, wird berichtet, dass der Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) am Tag von Aschura zu fasten pflegte. Er befahl auch uns, an diesem Tag zu fasten. Und als der Prophet über den Vorteil des Fastens am Tag von Aschura gefragt wurde, sagte er (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam): „Ich erhoffe mir, dass Allah meine Sünden für das letzte und das kommende Jahr vergeben wird." (Al-Bukhari, Buch: Das Fasten) Jedoch befahl er den Muslimen am 10. und am Tag davor, welcher der 9. ist, oder einen Tag danach, welcher der 11. ist zu fasten, um sich dadurch von den Juden zu unterscheiden. Aufgrund dessen, ist es empfohlen am 10. Tag zu fasten und einen Tag davor oder danach hinzuzufügen. Den 9. Tag zu Fasten ist jedoch besser als den 11. Daher ist es für euch, meine muslimschen Geschwister, wünschenswert, dass ihr am Tag von Aschura, sowie am 9.
