Er schrieb: "Der 'Qualitätsjournalismus' hat (von ein paar Ausnahmen abgesehen) rund um Charlie Hebdo das geleistet, was kritische Beobachter von ihm erwartet haben, nämlich nichts. Er hat die Erklärungsmuster und Rezepturen der Politik treulich nachgebetet. Er war unkritisch bis hin zur Servilität. Wo Nachfragen am Platz gewesen wäre, duckte sich die Journaille bequem ab. Nur weil zwei Vermummte "Allahu akbar" riefen und einer von ihnen im Fluchtauto seinen Personalausweis vergessen hatte, war für die Polizei die Täterfrage rasch geklärt. Diese Hochgeschwindigkeitstäterermittlung erinnert an 9/11, wo auf den qualmenden Trümmerhaufen der Twin Towers der Ausweis eines Attentäters gefunden worden ist. Duplizität der Ereignisse, irgendwie merkwürdig, nicht wahr? Kontrollfrage: Wie oft habe ich in den letzten 20 Jahren meinen Ausweis im Auto liegen lassen, vergessen, verloren? Investigativem Journalismus hätte es auch gut angestanden nachzufragen, weshalb die Täter beim Verlassen des Hauses, in das sie geflüchtet waren, erschossen worden sind. Hätte man ihrer nicht auch lebendig habhaft werden können? Das entspräche rechtsstaatlichen Standards und hätte Antworten auf viele interessante Fragen erwarten lassen. Doch solche Feinheiten sind nicht Sache des real existierenden Journalismus. Er schmiegt sich geschmeidig an die herrschenden politischen Zerrbilder. Im Fall Charlie Hebdo sah er seine Aufgabe darin, vorhandene Islamfeindbilder beflissen aufzunehmen und zu verstärken sowie der Weltöffentlichkeit das Bild von inniger Geschlossenheit zwischen dem Volk und seinen Führern zu vermitteln. Man könnte den Eindruck haben, dass manch bekannter Journalistenmime Angst vor den dunklen Abgründen hat, die eigenständiges Denken sichtbar machen kann..."
