Die Machtstruktur, insbesondere in den Staaten der westlichen Welt, wird von der überwiegenden Mehrzahl der Bürger grundlegend falsch verstanden, obwohl sie durchaus transparent, einsehbar und nachvollziehbar ist. Die westlichen Gesellschaften definieren sich als demokratische Gesellschaften. Es wird in der Schule und der Universität beigebracht, dass der Begriff Demokratie aus dem Griechischen stammt und "Demos Kratos" ("Volkssouveränität") bedeutet. Es wird erwähnt, dass die Griechen Europas erste Nation waren, die die Demokratie in Athen als Staatssystem einführten. Wird aber dabei die authentische Geschichte der Demokratie wiedergegeben? Die Griechen sahen aber damals vor, dass nur die Männer das Wahlrecht innehaben, während die damalige Mehrheit der Gesellschaft, bestehend aus Frauen, Sklaven, Einwanderern und den Nichtgriechen ausgeschlossen waren. Das Demokratieverständnis der Griechen damals sah es auch vor, dass die eigentliche legislative Macht nur in den Händen der Elite des athenischen Staates verbleiben dürfe. Später wurde dieses System von den Griechen selbst als nicht funktionsfähig und untauglich abgelehnt. Umso ironischer ist es, dass Greichenland das berühmteste Opfer von Korruption und Spekulation in Europa ist, welche markante Merkmale des realen Kapitalismus sind. Heute wird in der Schule beigebracht, wie die westlichen Staaten die Demokratie als Staatssystem einführten und zum Teil auf eine lange demokratische Tradition, wie z.B. in Großbritannien, zurückblicken. Bei näherer Betrachtung der demokratischen Systeme westlicher Staaten allerdings fällt auf, dass die Realität eine andere Sprache spricht. Es sind zumeist finanzstarke Lobbygruppen, die die Politik dieser Staaten dominieren und zumeist ist die Legislative von wenigen Politikern dominiert, die Gesetze und Regeln aufstellen, an die die übrige Gesellschaft ihr Leben orientieren muss. Wenn diese wenigen Entscheidungsträger Gesetze beschließen, wonach z.B. Drogen und Prostitution legalisiert werden sollen, wie in vielen Staaten bereits geschehen, so wird dies einfach gemacht und es gibt keine Möglichkeit dagegen vorzugehen. Weil es keine verbindliche Wertebasis gibt, sind die Werte westlicher Staaten veränderlich und nicht definitiv. Es sollte mittlerweile unmissverständlich klar geworden sein, dass die Demokratie und selbst die Partizipation in solch einem System nicht zu einem Aufstieg führen wird, mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass es dem Islam diametral widerspricht. Es sollte demnach zumindest ubs Muslimen klar werden, dass allein ein Kalifat auf dem Wege des Propheten zu einem Aufstieg führen wird und uns aus der Dunkelheit ins Licht führen wird.
